Meet Ashley
Hi! I’m Ashley Gibson, LCSW. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a master's degree in social work in 2011. I'm certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Bringing my energy and knowledge to the therapeutic relationship, I provide encouragement and psychoeducation around clients' areas of concern. I believe we are all wildly capable of doing amazing things and want to help clients become the best versions of themselves.
I especially love working with women under 40 and bring my own life experience as a mother, millennial, and woman to my professional practice. I provide a collaborative, safe, and informed space for clients who want to prioritize their personal growth and emotional well-being.
Through a personalized approach, layered with tough love and direct feedback, I’m my clients’ biggest cheerleader and toughest coach. I understand the importance of being that non-judgmental listener, but also recognize how vital it is to have someone give you that extra push when you need it.
